About Ko Yao Yai Subdistrict
Ko Yao Yai (ตำบลเกาะยาวใหญ่) is a subdistrict in Ko Yao District, Phang Nga. It must be distinguished from the entire physical island: research places northern island land in this tambon and central and southern areas in Phru Nai.
The municipality identifies its office at Ban Chong Lat in village 2. Its profile describes forested hills and smaller coastal and valley plains used for rice and gardens, alongside fishing livelihoods. Both western and eastern shorelines include bays and beaches, but individual access points remain separate destinations.
Confirm the village, accommodation or departure pier for a journey. An island-wide business address should be checked against the correct tambon. Boat schedules and sea conditions require operator confirmation; the administrative point is not a ferry terminal.
