About Le Subdistrict

Le (ตำบลเหล) is a subdistrict in Kapong District, Phang Nga, locally also called Nai Le. Its council history connects older settlement with waterways leading towards Takua Pa.

The council preserves local explanations of the name involving the southern word for sea and fishing traps; these are attributed naming traditions. Current community-forest records identify Pak Le within the tambon. Rommani lies to the north, Tha Na to the south, Khlong Sok in Surat Thani to the east and Tamtua to the west.

Specify Le in Kapong and the actual village before travelling. Historical river connections do not establish a current boat service or navigable visitor route. Arrange community or forest visits with local hosts rather than treating the representative point as a pier or trailhead.
