About Mae Khri Subdistrict
Mae Khri (ตำบลแม่ขรี) is a subdistrict of Tamot District, Phatthalung. Its market settlement provides a commercial focus within a district that also contains the separate tambons of Tamot and Khlong Yai.
A district information brochure describes Mae Khri Market as a trading point for agricultural produce from surrounding districts, including Bang Kaeo, Khao Chaison, Pak Phayun, Pa Bon and Kong Ra. The subdistrict also includes communities such as Ban Dan Lot. Municipal information concerns its own jurisdiction rather than every part of the wider tambon.
