About Makham Tia Subdistrict
Makham Tia (มะขามเตี้ย) belongs to Mueang Surat Thani District. The Ministry of Public Health places Surat Thani Hospital in village 2 and the Makham Tia subdistrict health-promoting hospital in village 5, establishing separate service locations within the area. Institutional administrative research distinguishes the part within Surat Thani city municipality from the outer part served by the subdistrict organisation. Neither service boundary alone should be substituted for the whole tambon.
