About Mo Thai Subdistrict
Mo Thai (โมถ่าย) is a subdistrict in Chaiya District, Surat Thani. The district agricultural office's 2026 plan records rubber cultivation in communities including Ban Pa Oi, Ban Klang and Ban Thue.
Woodland is another component of its land-use pattern. The plan identifies a forest area around Ban Thung Nang Phao in Village 6, alongside the wider working agricultural landscape.
Khlong Chaiya passes through Mo Thai on its route from the western hills towards the lower Chaiya area. The tambon is a collection of village and farming settings rather than a single attraction. Use the named community, farm or institution when arranging a particular local visit.
