About Muang Ngam Subdistrict
Muang Ngam (ตำบลม่วงงาม) is a subdistrict in Singhanakhon District, Songkhla. Muang Ngam Beach is a specific coastal landscape within the broader inhabited administrative area.
The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources has reported monitoring the shoreline following removal of coastal structures and beach restoration. Royal Irrigation Department reporting also identifies the local Phon Ek Athit Kamlang Ek canal as part of drainage management. These sources show the relationship between coastal change, village settlement and water management.
Check current weather, sea conditions and any works affecting access before visiting the shore. Follow local signs and use an agreed beach or village entrance. Shoreline monitoring does not establish safe swimming conditions or permanent visitor facilities.
