About Na Muen Si Subdistrict

Na Muen Si (นาหมื่นศรี) is an inland subdistrict of Na Yong District, Trang. Its best-known cultural association is locally woven cloth, whose techniques and patterns are documented by the Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture.

The Department of Intellectual Property's geographical-indication specification ties the weaving of Na Muen Si fabric to this tambon, while allowing certain finished products to be processed more widely within Trang. The locality is therefore distinct from an individual weaving group, shop or the wider provincial textile market. Not every textile sold elsewhere is evidence of a workshop at this location.

Arrange a demonstration or group visit with the actual weaving organisation and confirm its address. Working looms and household production spaces have their own arrangements. Ask before photographing makers or handling textiles, and check sales or demonstration availability directly.
