Na Phaya (นาพญา) is a subdistrict in Lang Suan District, Chumphon, extending to the Gulf of Thailand. Community Organizations Development Institute records describe its lowland farming history.
A local account connects the name with rice land associated with visiting officials and an earlier residence at Ban Khlong Dan. This is a naming tradition rather than a precisely dated founding record.
