About Noen Ngam Subdistrict

Noen Ngam (เนินงาม) is a subdistrict in Raman District, Yala. Its landscape falls from low hills and higher ground towards lower plains in the east. Communities include Ban Kue Lae, Bue Dong and Bue Nae Tue Bu, each with its own village identity within the larger administrative area.

Rice is a distinctive part of the local economy. The Community Organizations Development Institute documents efforts to support the traditional Mue Lo rice variety and community brown-rice production alongside livelihoods based on rubber growing. The land-development profile also identifies Khlong Kota Baru among the locality's watercourses.

For a visit focused on rice, food or village knowledge, arrange a particular producer or community contact first. Growing and harvest activities follow the agricultural season, and a product profile does not promise a permanent visitor centre. Confirm the road, field access and meeting place, especially after rain, rather than travelling only to the subdistrict's reference point.
