About Pa Rai Subdistrict
Pa Rai (ตำบลป่าไร่) is a subdistrict in Mae Lan District, Pattani. It is distinct from Pa Rai tambons in Mukdahan and Sa Kaeo. The Land Development Department's dedicated plan identifies it as a predominantly lowland agricultural area.
The plan discusses soil fertility, shallow soils and the suitability of different land uses rather than presenting the tambon as one tourist site. Village roads and cultivated land form part of the inland Mae Lan landscape. The local authority's planning documents provide a separate administrative contact from the wider district office.
Use Pa Rai, Mae Lan and a specific village when arranging transport or meeting a community host. Discuss access to working farmland beforehand, particularly after wet weather. A subdistrict reference point is not a farm entrance, and land-use maps do not confer permission to enter private or managed plots.
