About Pae-Ra Subdistrict
Pae-Ra (แป-ระ), also written Pae Ra, is a subdistrict of Tha Phae District, Satun. It is distinct from neighbouring Tha Ruea even though some nearby village names also include Pae-Ra.
The provincial public-health profile places the locality on the La-ngu–Chalung route and describes predominantly flat ground used for rice, field crops and rubber, with oil palm in part of the area. It identifies Khlong Rang Da crossing Villages 1, 2, 3 and 6. The Land Development Department also treats the tambon as a separate land-use planning unit.
Keep the village number with the full Tha Phae address when arranging a visit. A roadside institution and a household farther along a farming lane need different directions. Ask about the actual entrance and obtain permission before visiting production land or water-management structures.
