About Pak Ro Subdistrict
Pak Ro (ตำบลปากรอ) is a subdistrict in Singhanakhon District, Songkhla. District agricultural planning identifies it among communities whose livelihoods have drawn on Songkhla Lake fishing.
The Thailand Cultural Encyclopedia describes Pak Ro as a historic source of clay transported to Sathing Mo's pottery makers. This is an account of regional craft connections, rather than evidence of a public clay-digging attraction today. Department of Water Resources records also identify a water-monitoring station at Pak Ro.
