About Pase Yawo Subdistrict

Pase Yawo (ปะเสยะวอ) is a subdistrict of Sai Buri District, Pattani, combining Gulf coast communities with the Sai Buri River landscape. The national cultural-environment register documents its fishing heritage and local settlement traditions.

Boatbuilding is a distinctive local activity: Tourism and Sports records describe kolae fishing boats and decorative models made in the named Pase Yawo village. The wider community is also associated with budu fermented fish sauce and dried anchovies.

These crafts and foods belong to working communities rather than a single ticketed attraction. Ask ahead before entering a boatyard or arranging a community visit, and use the village or workshop's precise location rather than assuming that the administrative map point marks a visitor entrance.
