About Phang Kan Subdistrict
Phang Kan (พังกาญจน์) is a subdistrict of Phanom in Surat Thani. Geological disaster-planning material identifies local reference points including Ban Phang Kan School, Wat Phang Kan and Ban Chong Ma Liao School.
The education authority's local administrative overview places the entire Phang Kan tambon within Phanom municipality, whose service boundary also includes part of neighbouring Phanom tambon. The municipal name therefore should not replace Phang Kan's separate administrative identity. The planning references establish village and institutional locations; they are not a current notice or a visitor itinerary.
