About Phrarak Subdistrict

Phrarak (พระรักษ์) is a subdistrict in Phato District, Chumphon. The local authority records nine villages and places the area east of the district centre, reached through the Lang Suan–Ratchakrut road corridor.

Its geography is predominantly mountainous, with smaller areas of foothill and river-valley plain. The council identifies neighbouring Pang Wan and Phato tambons, Thung Kha Wat in Lamae District, and La-un District in Ranong.

The varied terrain means the subdistrict covers separate village settings rather than a single centre. Use the village name and local address for a particular journey. Historical council statistics are useful context, but do not establish a current whole-area population.
