About Pian Subdistrict

Pian (เปียน) is a subdistrict of Saba Yoi District, Songkhla. Its seven villages include Pian, Khuan Ran, Ban Kao, Ramai, Thung Phao, Suan On and Ramai Ton Makham.

The council describes a long north–south administrative area: flatter land in the north and centre supports rice and rubber cultivation, while the southern part reaches the Sankalakhiri forest landscape. Settlements follow roads and cluster near temples, mosques and schools.

Local oral tradition links the name Pian to the exchange of village settlement locations. The council also lists a seven-tier waterfall among local natural features. Confirm the exact destination and access arrangements locally rather than treating the tambon's reference point as a waterfall entrance.
