Pran Buri Forest Park brings together mangrove woodland, the Pran Buri River and a coastal beach at Pak Nam Pran. Developed through Queen Sirikit’s initiative and described by TAT as under forestry management, the park combines a forest walk with a coastal visit.
The main walk is an elevated wooden boardwalk of about one kilometre through the mangroves. It gives a close view of the roots and waterways without requiring visitors to walk through the wet forest floor. The coastal side is a separate part of the outing, with a beach and about a kilometre of pine woodland to the east.
TAT also describes river boat trips from a small landing and camping, which need their own local enquiries about current arrangements and charges. Confirm current entry charges before travelling. TAT Japan lists free admission, while the independent Thai National Parks guide reports paid admission in an update labelled August 2026. TAT lists 08:00–17:00, while Maps starts at 08:30; plan a daytime visit after 08:30 and confirm any early arrival. Check the boardwalk route with park staff if steps or uneven surfaces would affect your visit.

Walk through the mangroves
Follow the elevated wooden boardwalk to see the mangrove ecosystem along the river. Its published length is approximately one kilometre; this is a walk length rather than the size of the whole park.
Explore the coastal side separately
The beach and pine woodland provide a different landscape from the mangrove path. TAT describes coastal views towards offshore islands, Khao Takiap and Khao Tao.
Arrange river trips or camping locally
A small landing is described for river cruises and TAT mentions camping. Ask about departures, equipment, permission and any separate charges before planning either activity; the free-entry statement applies to park admission.
