About Riang Subdistrict

Riang (ตำบลเรียง) is a subdistrict in Rueso District on the inland side of Narathiwat. Its villages include Ban Sanae, associated with a royal-initiative model farm, and Ban Sue La, documented as a centre for integrated agricultural learning.

The Royal Development Projects Board records the Ban Sanae model farm as a project supporting local employment, food production and practical farming knowledge. The agricultural extension department's network directory also identifies an integrated farming learning centre in village 4. These are examples of the area's working agricultural landscape, rather than evidence that the whole subdistrict operates as a public tourist attraction.

Arrange any farm or community visit directly with the relevant host before travelling. Schools, farm plots and training centres can have working activities and access conditions separate from the surrounding villages. Include Riang, Rueso and the village name in your directions; the subdistrict map reference is not a farm entrance.
