About Sakhu Subdistrict
Sakhu (ตำบลสาคู) is a subdistrict of Phrasaeng District, Surat Thani, separate from Sakhu in Phuket and other provinces. The district's 2026 agricultural framework identifies seven villages.
Its terrain is described as rolling land with a northwest-to-southeast ridge and lower ground on either side. Cultural geographic records place Khlong I Pan through Sakhu on its course across Phrasaeng. These sources describe a working agricultural landscape rather than a single sightseeing site.
Include Phrasaeng in the address and identify the actual village or farm before travel. Waterways are used in local livelihoods and should not be assumed suitable for swimming or boating; confirm current conditions and permissions with local hosts. The administrative reference point does not identify a road junction or public entrance.
