About Sakom Subdistrict
Sakom (สะกอม) belongs to Chana District, Songkhla. The district public-health geographic profile identifies Sakom beach as one of the Gulf-coast destinations of Chana. The neighbouring Thepha authority separately records its own Sakom communities and their historic links with Ban Sakom in Chana. The shared name therefore refers to distinct administrative areas on the two sides of the district boundary, rather than interchangeable addresses.
When arranging a beach visit, stay or community appointment, confirm whether the destination is in Chana or Thepha and use its actual entrance address. Check current coastal conditions locally. The administrative reference centre does not locate every stretch of Sakom beach or establish swimming or boat-access conditions.
