About Samnak Kham Subdistrict
Samnak Kham (สำนักขาม) is a subdistrict of Sadao District, Songkhla, beside the Thai–Malaysian border. It includes Dan Nok, while Sadao town and the entire district are separate geographic scopes.
The municipality's history identifies Samnak Kham as a seven-village tambon formed in 1988. The border checkpoint and customs facilities are important institutions within it. Government reporting in July 2026 records the opening of the road connection between the new Sadao customs area and Bukit Kayu Hitam, so older directions to the former crossing should not be assumed current.
For a border journey, confirm the correct passenger or freight approach with the responsible operator and official checkpoint information. Use the actual accommodation, business or immigration entrance as the destination. The administrative map point represents the locality and is not itself a border gate.
