About Si Sunthon Subdistrict
Si Sunthon (ศรีสุนทร) is a subdistrict in southern Thalang, Phuket. The municipality describes lowland terrain crossed by canals, adjoining Thep Krasattri to the north, Ko Kaeo to the south and Choeng Thale to the west.
Its communities include several Lipon villages, Tha Ruea, Bang Cho, Ban Ya and Manik. These distinct village names are useful for locating destinations across an inland administrative area that differs from Phuket's beach tambons. The municipal office in Lipon Hua Han is a separate building location; the retained administrative point represents the wider tambon.
