About Song Phraek Subdistrict
Song Phraek (สองแพรก) is a subdistrict in Chai Buri District, Surat Thani. The district agricultural plan identifies village communities such as Ban Trom, Khlong Sok, Nai Chong, Khuan Kling and Yan Yung.
Khlong Trom runs through the tambon as part of a wider water network connecting Chai Buri's lowlands. The 2026 agricultural plan records rubber-growing groups at Khuan Kling and Nai Chong, as well as an oil-palm group in Village 2.
These village names give useful local orientation within the wider administrative area. This is Song Phraek in Chai Buri, distinct from the Song Phraek subdistrict in Phangnga; the latter's rafting and nature-tourism details should not be transferred here.
