About Takhria Subdistrict
Takhria (ตะเครียะ) is a subdistrict in Ranot District, Songkhla. The Land Development Department records five villages: Pak Bang, Nong Thuai, Pak Mueang, Khlong Pho and Dok Baek Pak Mueang.
Its predominantly flat terrain belongs to the Songkhla Lake basin, with Thale Luang on its southern side. Local waterways include Khlong Takhria, Khlong Sala Tham and Khlong Pho.
Rice farming and water management are closely connected here. Institutional research describes the area's farming soils and canal network, which support a landscape of fields and village communities. The subdistrict map point is a general reference; the named village or waterway gives a more useful location for a specific journey.
