Nong Kae, Hua HinAbout this place
Takiab Beach here refers to the sand on the north side of Khao Takiab headland in Nong Kae, at the southern end of Hua Hin’s long beachfront. The hill and its standing Buddha give this stretch a recognisable backdrop. Some guides use Khao Takiab Beach for shores on both sides of the hill; this map point identifies the northern side.
This shore is distinct from the pine-backed Suan Son Pradipat beach farther south. Use the beach map point to orientate, then confirm an appropriate local approach rather than relying on access through a hotel. Check tide, waves, weather and any warning flags before entering the water, and ask locally about facilities or a step-free route if these affect your visit.

Use the headland to orientate
This map point represents the sand north of Khao Takiab hill, close to its standing Buddha landmark. Beach guides also use the broader Khao Takiab Beach name for the shore south of the hill; check which side your directions identify.
Check conditions on the day
Read any local beach notices and check tide, waves and weather before going into the water. If using a beach business’s seats, shade or facilities, ask that operator about current terms.
