About Talat Nuea Subdistrict
Talat Nuea (ตลาดเหนือ) is an urban subdistrict of Mueang Phuket. The official tourism directory identifies Chinpracha House here and describes the historic Sino-Portuguese buildings that contribute to the local townscape.
The house offers a particular focus for architectural and cultural interest within a wider lived-in urban area. Talat Nuea is distinct from neighbouring Talat Yai and from Phuket Old Town as a broader heritage district. Individual museums, houses and businesses retain their own entrances and visiting arrangements; the tambon reference coordinate should not be used as a building access point.
