About Talu Ban Subdistrict
Talu Ban (ตะลุบัน) is a subdistrict of Sai Buri District, Pattani, covering the town associated with the district's historic river settlement. The municipality describes a predominantly flat coastal area and states that its administrative coverage includes the whole Talu Ban tambon.
Municipal history recounts the relocation of the old Sai Buri settlement towards Khao Sa Lin Dong Ba Yu as upstream navigation became difficult in the dry season. This provides context for the town's relationship with the river without fixing uncertain early dates.
The municipal profile also identifies rubber and orchard areas in communities including Ban Tai and La Mo Bok. Talu Ban therefore includes residential, civic and agricultural settings; individual offices, historic buildings and riverside destinations need their own addresses and access information.
