Tha Ngio (ท่างิ้ว) is a subdistrict of Huai Yot District, Trang. Municipal profiles describe both low plains and scattered mountains, with rubber and oil palm on much of the cultivated land.
The local name is connected in the municipal account with a landing place and an ngio tree beside the water. The account explains the name's local tradition; it does not establish a precise founding date.
