About Tha Ruea Subdistrict
Tha Ruea (ท่าเรือ), code 940211, lies in Khok Pho District, Pattani, adjoining Nong Chik to the north and Thepha in Songkhla to the west. Its land-use plan lists Ban Hua Khuan, Ban Khuan Ple, Ban Tha Ruea and Ban Phru Wang among its settlements. The landscape combines lowland and gently undulating ground with some hills, crossed by waterways including Khlong Tha Ruea and Khlong Sai Ho. Rubber is a major documented land use, alongside rice and oil palm.
The administrative name Tha Ruea does not by itself establish a passenger port. Specify the village or institution when arranging a trip, particularly near the provincial boundary. The map point is the tambon reference centre rather than a landing, bridge or farm entrance.
