About Tha Ruea Subdistrict
Tha Ruea (ท่าเรือ) is a subdistrict of Tha Phae District in Satun. The Land Development Department identifies six villages within its boundary, with a mixture of flatter, rolling and steeper ground crossed by natural and constructed waterways.
The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources documents community environmental activity in Village 4, Ban Pae-Ra Tai, including canal clean-up and mangrove education. The village name does not place it in the separate tambon of Pae-Ra. Likewise, Tha Ruea's name should not be taken to mean that the entire locality is a passenger pier.
For a community or farming visit, obtain the actual village and host's address. Canal banks and cultivated plots have separate access arrangements. Confirm any intended boat activity with a named operator; the administrative point does not establish a public landing place or regular service.
