About Tha Uthae Subdistrict

Tha Uthae (ตำบลท่าอุแท) is a subdistrict in Kanchanadit District, Surat Thani. GISTDA's local terrain study describes higher plains and gently rolling land, with more pronounced relief in southern parts.

The same study identifies Ban Na Tham as a specific landslide case-study locality, while school records place Tha Uthae Phitthaya at Ban Don Luang in village 1. Downstream council plans describe water moving from Tha Uthae into the Tha Thong drainage towards Chon Khram, linking the tambon with coastal lowlands.

Choose the precise village or institution before travel. A historical landslide case study is not a current closure notice, but hills and local drainage make current weather and road advice relevant. The administrative point is not a school entrance, trailhead or safe route designation.
