About Tha Yang Subdistrict
Tha Yang (ท่ายาง) belongs to Mueang Chumphon District, distinct from Tha Yang in Phetchaburi and other provinces. Government historical accounts link the area with an earlier location of Chumphon town before the present Tha Taphao urban centre. The Fisheries Department account identifies the old-market locality and the separate Tha Yang Nuea, Tha Yang Klang and Tha Yang Tai temples. These references describe a settled river-side area rather than one terminal or temple complex.
Use the street, village and exact temple or institution name for the final approach. For a boat journey, confirm the actual pier and current operator arrangements. The administrative geographic centre does not identify a passenger terminal or any of the temple entrances.
