About Thale Sap Subdistrict
Thale Sap (ตำบลทะเลทรัพย์) is a subdistrict of Pathio District, Chumphon. University research on the local municipality describes a mixture of uplands, mountains, low areas and rolling terrain.
Neighbouring council profiles place Thale Sap west of Bang Son and beside Chum Kho, distinguishing its inland administrative area from the nearby Gulf coast. The provincial Buddhism office identifies Khao Maeo and Pa Den Chan monastic forest lodgings in Thale Sap in its December 2023 reporting. These are specific religious sites within a wider inhabited tambon.
Use the exact village or institution name when making travel arrangements. A monastic lodging is not automatically a public sightseeing facility, and any visit should respect its religious use. Check access with the community rather than treating the administrative reference point as a site entrance.
