About Tham Subdistrict
Tham (ตำบลถ้ำ) is a subdistrict in Takua Thung District, Phang Nga. Provincial administrative records identify it separately from Krasom, despite the long historical association of the name Tham with the local cave landscape.
The Fine Arts Department explains that Wat Suwan Khuha and its cave are now in Krasom following boundary changes, rather than within the present Tham tambon. Contemporary Attorney General reporting identifies Ban Ton Din Nok as village 6 in Tham, while Buddhism-office records document local community support.
Use the village and full tambon address when arranging a visit. Searching only for Tham or Cave Temple may lead to a destination across the current boundary. The administrative reference point does not locate a cave entrance, and religious-site access should be checked with the specific temple.
