About Tham Thalu Subdistrict

Tham Thalu (ถ้ำทะลุ) is a subdistrict in western Bannang Sata District, Yala. The Land Development Department describes steep and rolling mountain terrain, with waterways including Khlong Male and Khlong Mueang Mai. Its listed communities include Ban Tham Thalu, Na Sua, Bannang Bubo, Di Da and Tang Kaden.

The Ministry of Tourism's district route identifies the namesake limestone cave, which passes through part of a hill and is associated with a Guan Yin shrine. This is one particular heritage and religious site within the larger tambon, rather than the entire administrative area's visitor entrance. Forest areas and rural communities form additional parts of the setting.

Obtain directions to the specific cave, shrine or village you intend to visit. Check current access locally and respect worshippers and any restricted areas. The subdistrict map reference does not define a permitted cave route or a public forest trail.
