About Thap Chang Subdistrict
Thap Chang (ตำบลทับช้าง) is a subdistrict in Na Thawi District, Songkhla. The district labour-centre profile describes higher ground alternating with lowlands and rubber tapping as a principal livelihood.
Its local name is linked in an inherited account to a Pattani ruler's elephant and a camp established to recover it, with Khuan Khai Chang named in the story. The tambon lies between Sathon, Prakop and Khlong Kwang and includes the Khok O area in village 7. The story is local tradition rather than proof of an operating elephant attraction.
Use a named village or host address for local journeys. Obtain permission for farm visits and check approaches after heavy rain. The general administrative marker does not identify an elephant camp, visitor venue or every orchard gate.
