About Thung Khai Subdistrict
Thung Khai (ตำบลทุ่งค่าย) is a subdistrict in Yan Ta Khao District, Trang. Provincial natural-resources reporting confirms the Thung Khai Botanical Garden within the tambon.
Fine Arts Department material describes the garden's evergreen and peat-swamp forest setting and its role in plant conservation and learning. Outside that distinct site, farming remains important: September 2026 Agricultural Extension reporting documents upland rice intercropped with young rubber or oil-palm plantings in village 6.
Check the botanical garden's current access and facilities with its operator. A garden visit and a village farm visit require different directions; arrange the latter with a host. The tambon's geographic point is not the garden entrance.
