About Thung Khla Subdistrict
Thung Khla (ทุ่งคล้า) is a subdistrict in the northwestern part of Sai Buri District, Pattani. Its villages include Thung Khla, Bluka Tue Rae, Na Wa, Tro Pling and Pho Mo. It lies within an inland area meeting the Mai Yo and Thung Yang Daeng sides of the province.
The land-use profile describes higher and steeper ground to the north and south, with a central plain between valleys and waterways such as Khlong Luat Nam Tao. Rice-growing remains part of local identity: government reporting documents collective harvesting and efforts to bring unused fields back into cultivation.
Arrange a farming or learning visit through a particular community group. Planting and harvest activities follow the season and are not a fixed daily programme. Ask for the actual village meeting point, permission to enter fields and current road conditions, especially after heavy rain.
