About Thung Luang Subdistrict
Thung Luang (ตำบลทุ่งหลวง) is a subdistrict west of Wiang Sa's district centre in Surat Thani. Its western boundary follows the Tapi River opposite Phrasaeng District.
The municipal profile distinguishes flat northern ground, eastern foothill slopes and lower land in the south, making this a varied river-and-farming landscape. Wiang Sa tambon lies to the north, Khlong Chanuan to the south, and Ban Song and Khao Niphan to the east. The local history places its transfer to Wiang Sa's administrative area in 1968.
Include Wiang Sa in searches to avoid other Thung Luang subdistricts. Select the exact village or river access for a journey; a boundary description does not establish a ferry or bridge. The administrative point is not an individual attraction or municipal service counter.
