About Thung Mo Subdistrict
Thung Mo (ทุ่งหมอ) is a subdistrict of Sadao District in Songkhla. Its local development plan distinguishes several village communities, including Ban Khlong Sai in Village 2 and Ban Ton Ko in Village 3.
The plan's village history describes homes beside a sandy canal and the growing of field crops and fruit. It explains Ton Ko's development from an earlier group of households in the Khlong Sai area. These local histories help orient the tambon as a collection of communities rather than a single town centre or visitor attraction.
When arranging a local visit, give the village number and host's meeting place. Canal-side roads can lead to different settlements even when the tambon name is the same. Check the final route after prolonged rain and obtain permission before entering household gardens, agricultural plots or community premises.
