About Thung Rang Subdistrict
Thung Rang (ตำบลทุ่งรัง) is a subdistrict in Kanchanadit District, Surat Thani. University community research describes low-lying and lateritic plains, with peat-swamp areas and seasonal waterlogging in parts of the tambon.
The local account names Khlong Thap Khwai, Kong Wang and Krut among its waterways, with other channels marking boundaries. Provincial government records independently locate Surat Thani Immigration in village 2, illustrating civic services within this wider rural administrative area. Nearby Chang Khwa and Chang Sai are different tambons.
