About Thung Yao Subdistrict
Thung Yao (ตำบลทุ่งยาว) is a subdistrict in Palian District, Trang. The subdistrict authority's plan describes mainly low-lying terrain south of Trang city, with separate municipal and rural administrative jurisdictions.
Khlong Rae, Khlong Lak Khan and Khlong Wang Ang are named natural waterways. Rubber, oil palm and fruit gardens are prominent agricultural uses. Official records locate the municipality in village 2; its compact service area should not be confused with the whole tambon.
Specify Palian and Trang when searching, as there are other Thai places named Thung Yao. Use a village and host's address for farm or community visits, and check local road conditions after heavy rain.
