About this place
Wat Khao Krailart, วัดเขาไกรลาศ, is a Buddhist temple on Khao Krailart in the Khao Takiab area of Nong Kae. Thailand’s DASTA tourism authority identifies it as a viewpoint over Khao Takiab village and the beach. It is a separate temple from Wat Khao Takiab on the coastal headland.
The Ministry of Culture’s temple record describes an ordination hall, preaching hall, bell tower and drum tower, and confirms the same Nong Kae location. The nearby Krailart Niwate mangrove conservation area is another distinct attraction; its boardwalk and guided activities should not be assumed to be temple facilities. Current visiting hours, building access and a step-free approach were not established during this review.

A hilltop temple in the village area
DASTA places the temple on the Hua Hin–Khao Takiab road, close to but separate from Wat Khao Takiab. The viewpoint is over the village and coastline.
Keep the temple and mangrove visit distinct
Krailart Niwate is an associated mangrove conservation initiative nearby. Check its own arrangements if adding a boardwalk visit; temple access does not establish boardwalk opening or guided-tour availability.
