About Wat Son Subdistrict

Wat Son (วัดสน) is an administrative subdistrict of Ranot District, Songkhla. The name also identifies a village and religious locality; it should not be confused with similarly named temples in Bangkok or elsewhere.

Community-development records place Ban Wat Son in Village 3 and describe meetings at the local health-promoting hospital, alongside community gardening and activities around the temple. The Land Development Department also records local work converting invasive fish into agricultural biofertiliser. Past official flood reports identify low-lying parts of the tambon affected by high water, making current route checks relevant after sustained rain.

Use the named institution and village number for appointments. Community activities are not a standing visitor programme, and medical premises should be visited for their intended services. Ask locally about the final road and follow current notices rather than treating historical flood reports as live conditions.
