About Yan Ta Khao Subdistrict
Yan Ta Khao (ตำบลย่านตาขาว) is a subdistrict in Yan Ta Khao District, Trang. Its central settlement contains an old trading quarter documented by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning.
The heritage account connects the settlement's development with Khlong Palian, an old landing and the Hua Saphan community. Wooden shophouses and mixed wood-and-masonry buildings line the historic commercial area along the Trang–Chalung road. Wat Nikon Rangsan and public-service buildings form other local landmarks.
