About Yu Po Subdistrict

Yu Po (ตำบลยุโป) is a subdistrict in Mueang Yala District, Yala. Land-use and municipal disaster-planning records describe a mainly low-lying agricultural area receiving drainage towards the Pattani River.

The Land Development Department names Khlong Lam Da, Bueng Bado and the Pattani River among its important natural water sources. Highway 418 and roads linking Lam Mai, Yu Po and Tha Sap help orient local journeys. The flood-prone lower land is part of an inhabited farming landscape, not a single managed lakeside attraction.

Specify the village or water feature when arranging a visit. Ask local contacts about flooded approaches after prolonged rain and obtain permission before entering farms or water-control works. Do not interpret the tambon's general map point as a boat launch, park gate or municipal office.
