Phra Borommathat Chedi Maha Chakri Phiphat
Three-level stupa at Wat Yanasangwararam, built in honour of the Chakri dynasty and described by the temple as housing Buddha relics and a footprint replica.
About Phra Borommathat Chedi Maha Chakri Phiphat
Phra Borommathat Chedi Maha Chakri Phiphat is a stupa within Wat Yanasangwararam, also transliterated by the temple as Phra Boromthat Chedi Maha Chakripipat. The official account gives a height of 39 metres and a base 37 metres across. The temple describes three levels: temporary exhibitions below, a replica of the Buddha’s footprints on the second level, and relics of the Buddha and his disciples in the upper Golden Room. Confirm which levels are currently open before planning an interior visit; the map’s 24-hour label should not be taken as a promise that the exhibition rooms are always accessible.
