What you need to know
What has changed
Book Expo Thailand 2026 begins in Bangkok on Friday, 23 October, giving residents and visitors ten days to explore the national publishing fair at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The organiser, the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand, confirms a run through Sunday, 1 November. QSNCC’s current event listing independently gives the same dates and opening hours.
Where and when to go
The expo occupies Exhibition Halls 5–7 on Level LG of QSNCC. Published opening hours are 10am to 9pm daily. These times are local Bangkok time.
The 31st edition uses the theme Unread Messages, with the idea of discovering a new message through a book. Visitors planning around a particular publisher, author or activity should check the organiser’s current announcements for the relevant details.
Planning a useful visit
The venue is in Khlong Toei on Ratchadaphisek Road and is served by the MRT station named Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Check the hall and level when arranging a meeting point: the event is on LG, rather than simply somewhere in the wider convention complex.
Visitor information published by BangkokVacay notes that Thai-language titles dominate the fair. Readers looking specifically for English-language books, specialist subjects or a particular edition should check publisher information before making a dedicated trip. A large fair does not guarantee that an individual title will be available.
Check programme and admission details
The official pages reviewed clearly confirm the dates, hours and location, but do not state an admission charge. We have therefore not described admission as free. Check the organiser’s latest visitor information for entry arrangements and any separately scheduled activities.
For a casual visit, the long daily opening window allows flexibility. Bring a manageable bag if buying books and allow time to locate the right stalls. Dates and venue details are confirmed for this edition; individual programme details should be checked close to the visit.
