What has changed

The Tourism Authority of Thailand is preparing a weekday-travel campaign with tourism vouchers priced at 100 baht, according to fresh reporting on 31 October and a first-party account from the Association of Thai Travel Agents.

The announced campaign window is 15 December 2026 to 9 February 2027. The current news concerns preparations; it does not mean the vouchers are available to buy today.

Who the campaign is aimed at

The plans target Thai travellers and foreign nationals residing in Thailand, with the aim of shifting more domestic trips into quieter weekdays.

That description should not be read as confirmed eligibility for every overseas visitor. Prospective buyers should check the final registration and residency requirements when the official sales information is released.

Two kinds of offers

The campaign combines discounts and privileges from participating businesses with online “SHOCK DEALS” voucher sales at the 100-baht price point.

Reports describe eight sales rounds on Tuesdays and use for Monday-to-Thursday travel. They do not establish that a voucher covers an entire holiday, or that every hotel, meal or activity will cost 100 baht.

The full sales calendar and the terms of each offer need to be checked together. Do not assume that every Tuesday in the overall campaign window is a sale date or that every product has identical redemption rules.

Check the deal before committing to travel

Before paying for accommodation or transport around an offer, confirm what the voucher includes, the permitted travel dates, booking process, availability and any extra charges. Check cancellation and refund conditions directly with the seller.

The participating sectors described in the reporting include accommodation, dining, attractions and activities, health and beauty, and other tourism services. The value of an individual offer will depend on its own terms.

TAT’s preparations are intended to spread tourism spending across businesses and communities outside peak periods. Actual booking availability and the final consumer instructions should be verified through the campaign’s official announcements closer to the December launch.
