About Bang Kung Subdistrict

Bang Kung (บางกุ้ง) is a subdistrict of Huai Yot District, Trang. Community research describes upland forest catchments feeding Khlong Bang Kung and their importance to local livelihoods.

Reporting from Ban Thung Nong Haeng documents households combining rubber growing with retained rice fields and, in some low wet plots, lotus cultivation and fish rearing. These examples concern a particular community and are not production figures for the entire tambon.

The same place name is also used for a village in nearby Na Wong and for tambons in other provinces. Include the village, Bang Kung tambon and Huai Yot district in an address, and arrange farm visits directly rather than assuming public access.
